Salutations to the Mother of the world, who lives as a seed in all cows.
Salutations to that Goddess who is a great Goddess, and who is the wish-yielding cow.
~ Skanda Purana ~
One Gentle Being,
Endless Gifts
Honouring the many ways care for cows enriches everyday living.
MILK AND GHEE
According to Ayurveda, fresh milk nourishes the vital energy and supports immunity and calmness, while pure ghee enhances digestion, lubricates tissues, and promotes overall strength and mental clarity.
YOGURT & BUTTER
In Ayurveda, fresh yogurt supports gut health and strengthens digestion when taken appropriately, while butter, builds strength, and provides grounding, cooling energy to the body.
DUNG & BIOGAS
Dung and biogas are valued for naturally enriching soil fertility, producing clean renewable fuel from organic waste, and supporting a closed-loop farm system that nurtures the earth while reducing environmental impact.
COW URINE
Traditionally valued in Ayurveda for its detoxifying and immunity-supporting properties, it help balance digestion and promote overall metabolic health when used appropriately.
BULLOCKS
They gently aerate and soften the soil as they work, improving water absorption, encouraging microbial life, and preparing the land for healthier, more resilient crop growth
PANCHA GAVYA PREPARATIONS
They traditionally valued for enhancing plant vitality and soil fertility while supporting holistic wellness practices rooted in Ayurvedic and Vedic agriculture.
Natural pesticides & fertilisers
They help protect crops while restoring soil health, offering a chemical-free way to nourish plants and support long-term ecological balance.
ECO CRAFT ITEMS
Handcrafted with care from natural materials, eco-friendly products like incense sticks, soaps, diyas turn sustainability into everyday rituals.
The Gir Breed
Gir cows produce A2 milk rich in A2 beta-casein, known for its easier digestion and wholesome nutrition. They are a highly adaptable breed, able to thrive in varied climates and environments. With strong natural immunity, they are less prone to diseases and health issues.
They yield nutrient-dense milk, typically producing around 10 litres per day. Gir cows also have a long reproductive life, often giving birth to 10–12 calves over their lifetime. Their colostrum is considered exceptionally rich and nourishing.
Recognisable by their distinct hump and sturdy build, they are naturally resilient. Supporting locally raised Gir cows helps sustain their lineage while preserving their lifelong health benefits
MEET
NANDI —
Gir Calf, 2 months
“Hare Krishna! I’m Nandi, and I’m basically a tiny furry tornado wrapped in spots. Two months old, and I’ve already learnt the art of pushing everyone around—volunteers, visitors, my mum (when she lets me). My day mostly revolves around milk, naps, surprise sprints, and insisting on neck scratches (non-negotiable). I’ve never known anything but kindness and safety, so I greet the world like it’s one big playground. One day I’ll be a big bull — but for now, I’m happily busy being small, wobbly, and full of wonder.
- Care Level: High (growing calf, nutritional needs, playtime)
MEET
RADHA —
Gir Cow, 5 years
I’m Radha, a five-year-old Gir who has called this sanctuary home since the day I was born. Each morning, gentle hands milk me slowly and with care—never rushed, always respectful. My body is nurtured, not depleted. My calves stay by my side, and I live free from the fear that shadows so many of my cousins in industrial farms. Here, my role is simple and joyful: to offer milk from a place of wellbeing and trust, not pressure. Your support helps keep this circle of care alive—for me, my calves, and the life we share here.
- Care Level: Moderate (daily hand-milking, routine health care)
MEET
GOVIND —
Gir Bullock, 3 years
Hari Bol! I’m Govind — the biggest bull of the Valley. I like to remind everyone that horsepower is impressive, but bull-power gets the real work done.
At three years old, I get to do something many of my kind haven’t experienced in decades: meaningful work, at my own pace. I help pull carts, support farm tasks, and move heavy loads — but never by force. I rest when I need to, I’m never chained or struck, and I’m respected as a strong partner, not a machine. Come work alongside me sometime?”
You’re not just supporting — you’re
welcoming Mother Cow into your heart.
Your contribution takes care of the whole picture!
