For over 25 years, Krishna Valley – Care for Cows has been a quiet sanctuary in Bambra, Victoria, where cows, calves and bulls are protected for life. Rooted in ahimsa (non‑violence), every animal is never harmed, sold or slaughtered. They are a family.
Vision: A world where compassion is a daily practice. Where cows live with dignity, the earth heals, and every visitor leaves with a softer heart.

Our Approach to Cow Care
Milk with care
Milking is done gently and respectfully, with patience and calm. Every cow feels safe, never rushed or forced.
Lifetime protection
No cow is ever sold, abandoned, or sent away. Even after milk production ends, she remains home – protected for life.
Calves first
Before any milking begins, every calf feeds from its own mother. The natural bond is honoured, not broken.
Veterinary wellness
Regular health checks and attentive daily care keep every cow thriving. Comfort and wellbeing always come first.
